Workshops, webinars, and support groups tailored to every reality
At ALS Quebec, we deeply believe in the strength of community. Our support groups are more than spaces to talk: they are places of listening, mutual support, and genuine human connection.
To meet the diverse needs of people affected by ALS, we offer several types of group meetings:

Educational Workshop Series – ALS 101 Workshops
A three-part series designed to help you better understand and adjust to the disease:
- Workshop #1: ALS Overview
- Workshop #2: Following an ALS diagnosis
- Workshop #3: Coping skills for ALS
Educational Webinars
Monthly presentations designed to deepen your knowledge of ALS through a variety of topics.
Support Groups
Compassionate support and shared experience, facilitated by a counsellor and/or a peer supporter.
An open and flexible format: each person participates according to their needs and at their own pace.
– People living with ALS and their caregivers
– People living with ALS

Curious to give it a try?
There’s no obligation to speak. You’re welcome to come, observe, get a feel for the atmosphere, and decide at your own pace.
Need respite to participate in an ALS Quebec activity?
To help you participate in our groups and webinars with peace of mind, we can cover the cost of respite care services during the meetings. This support can take different forms, such as respite care for the person living with ALS or childcare expenses, to free you from your responsibilities and allow you to be fully present.
