It’s by taking action that we can make a difference
Dear friends,
It is with much pride that I have served on The Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Society of Quebec’s Board of Directors for the last seven years and now as President.
As some of you may know, I have experienced first hand the relentless cruelty of ALS, as my brother died of the disease in 2007. When I learned of his diagnosis, I was appalled to find out that there is no cure, nor any effective treatment for ALS. I then decided that I would do as much as I could in my brother’s name, and in the name of all affected by this terrible disease.
It’s by taking action that we can make a difference. I am not only a member of the Board of Directors, but I also support the cause by participating in annual events.
The success of our efforts is based on four ingredients: team work, passion, will and determination.
I am very proud to be part of the ALS team. We share the same vision, and put our combined passion and talents toward the cause. Please join us in our efforts, and help maintain the ALS Society as a key resource for people affected by the disease and as a supporter of research.
On behalf of all my colleagues on the Board of Directors, thank you for your continued support.
