Ambassadors are the ‘face’ of the ALS Society of Quebec and all those who are involved.

They are the people our donors and media want to meet and talk to. By offering their services and telling their stories, they inspire people around them to take action, join together and get involved in the cause. They encourage donors and the public to get involved and they help make the connection between what we do more real and tangible to participants, donors, the media and stakeholders.

By telling their powerful stories at fundraising events and conferences, Ambassadors show how our organization has touched their lives. Their experiences inspire others who want to make a contribution, to take action.

BECOMING AN AMBASSADOR

Are you passionate about the fight against ALS? Do you like speaking in public and want to share your story?

Join our Ambassadors’ Club! As an ambassador, you will represent the ALS Society of Quebec by delivering messages at events, particularly fundraisers, schools and companies, or by conducting interviews with the media.

Through this work, you will boost our efforts to raise awareness of ALS, the Society’s mission and research into treatment and a cure. You will share your story and inspire people to get involved.

We invite you to contact us for more information on the steps to becoming an Ambassador.

As a speaker, you will visit schools and workplaces to lead information sessions on ALS and the Society, and deliver key messages on research, and/or give a personal testimonial. You will receive full training and guidance from us.

Our speakers require the following:

  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Independence, punctuality and availability (variable schedule: day, evening or weekend engagements depending on your availability)
  • Ability to travel (costs will be reimbursed if you use your personal vehicle)
