Volunteer and make a difference
Year after year, we successfully carry out our programs, services and events thanks to devoted individuals who give their most precious asset: their time. Our volunteers help us in so many ways: they organize and support fundraising events, assist with daily administrative tasks, take photos, write and translate documents, and so much more! Each minute of volunteer work brings us closer to our mission to support families touched by ALS and to fund critical research.
These individual acts carried out by volunteers, propel our organization towards our goals and it is the reason why we would like to take the time to thank and recognize all of our volunteers for their remarkable contributions.

Our Volunteer Programs
Help us fight ALS by becoming a volunteer! Many positions available at our Montreal office or from your home.
Volunteer by professional competencies
No doubt you possess skills which could benefit our team and our cause! Writing, translating, photography, programming, web development, graphic design, first-aid are frequently needed!
Help with support group activities
Once a month, we offer support and interactive group meetings to people with ALS and their families. The volunteers are there to help the ALS team and the participants. This program is the perfect match for your communication and listening skills.
Administrative assistance
We are constantly looking for volunteers for administrative work, such as filing documents, assembling information kits and accomplishing daily tasks. If you possess great organization skills and attention to detail, this program is for you!
Friendly visits
We are currently working on developing a friendly visit program to offer caregivers a kind of respite during home visits. The volunteers will show empathy and lend a sympathetic ear to the person with ALS and their caregiver. You are altruistic and have a lot of compassion? The Friendly Visits is the perfect program for you!
Help during special events
Several activities to raise funds and awareness of ALS are held across the province throughout the year, like the Ride to fight ALS and Walk for ALS. These events always require a significant number of enthusiastic volunteers with great team spirit.
Business volunteers
We are always looking for professionals in the business community to serve on various volunteer organizing and strategic committees. As a business volunteer, your main tasks are to build on your experience and network of contacts to ensure the success of our annual events or ensure the strategic development of the Society.
