COVID-19: Updates and resources

COVID-19: The ALS Society of Quebec ensures the continuity of its programs and services

We know that this is a concerning time for many and we want to assure you that we are here for you. The safety of our families touched by ALS, our staff, volunteers and the public at large is our priority. Following the recommendations put forth by the governments of Quebec and Canada, here are the actions that we are taking:

  • All staff will be working at a distance and will have access to their emails and phone messages (from Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm);
  • Our information services, support lines and financial aid programs continue to be offered with the following exception: All in-person support groups and in-person activities within Quebec are being suspended until the end of April 2020 and until further notice. We are looking into planning some virtual support group.
  • Regarding our equipment and technical aid program, some suppliers have reduced their services which may cause some delays but trust that we will work with them and your CLSC representative to fulfill your needs

The following information has been created by ALS clinicians across Canada to help you know what to do during this phase of the COVID-19 pandemic.
