Urban Ride 2012

Urban Ride for ALS is a cycling event to take place on September 7th 2012 from Brossard to Sorel. The goal of the Ride is to raise funds to help conquer ALS. The money you raise for the ALS Society of Quebec will help improve the lives of people living with Lou Gehrig's disease and supporting their family members. Your ride will also help to fund research for a cure and to generate awareness about ALS.
Registration fee:
$25 per participant to cover expenses relating to the event (meals, snacks, support team, etc.)
Minimum fundraising goal:
Each participant must raise $250 in order to take part in this event (online donors will receive an electronic tax receipt by e-mail)
Route:
Around 90KM/100KM, from Brossard to Sorel, passing by the meeting locations. Riders will be able to join the cycling group at the city hall of each city below. Here are the approximate times of arrival:
1. Brossard – Arrival 9:30 am/Departure 10:00am
2. Saint-Lambert – 10:30 am
3. Longueuil – 11:00 am
4. Boucherville - Arrival noon/Departure 1:00 pm
5. Varennes – 1:45 pm
6. Contrecoeur – 2:30 pm
7. Sorel – 4:00 pm
